Meet Our Current Volunteers
Susan is a contract staff member with the station doing administrative work for the Board for the past two years. She enjoys the change of pace from her prior career of 30+ years, as a mental health clinician working with children and families, both inpatient and outpatient, and later as an employee assistance counselor, beginning in the San Francisco Bay Area and ending at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. A prior career was in local government as a staff member with the League of California Cities and later as editor of their magazine, Western City. She has a master’s degree in social welfare (MSW) from the University of California, Berkeley; a MA in public policy from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, CA and a BA in psychology from Pomona College in Claremont, CA. Her interests are many and varied, including 19th and early 20th century history, art and literature, music, foreign languages, travel, dance classes and choreography, and animal welfare. Her family roots are in Minnesota and Wisconsin but she was born and raised in the Southwest, the oldest of 6 children.
Susan lives in Battlement Mesa with her husband Keith Lammey and their pet cat Minx. What Susan likes best about working at KSUN are the varied and dedicated folks associated with the station and the opportunity to keep on growing and learning!
